Bio

Dr. Ian A. Bellard is a Pensacola native and graduate of the Pensacola High School International Baccalaureate program. He attended the University of Florida and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. After working in the eyecare industry for two years, Dr. Bellard continued his education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree. Dr. Bellard graduated from UAB magna cum laude and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Florida Optometric Association (FOA).

Dr. Bellard is passionate about both medical and refractive eye care for people of all ages and backgrounds. He provides full-scope eye care, including comprehensive exams, contact lens fittings, medical visits and pediatric exams. Dr. Bellard seeks to make eye care a positive experience for the whole family and to address each patient’s unique vision problems individually to serve their needs better. In his free time, Dr. Bellard enjoys spending time with his family, frequenting the beach, and watching Gator football.
