Bio

Dr. Troy Bell has been a partner with Terrezza Optical Group for over seven years and has practiced in the Panhandle of Florida for almost eighteen years.  Dr.  Bell graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  From there, he continued his education at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2005.

Troy Bell, OD, understands the importance of maintaining a high level of patient care and customer service.  Dr. Bell provides a full scope of patient care, including comprehensive eye exams, "difficult to fit" contact lenses, ocular disease and pre & post-operative management of cataracts and refractive surgery (LASIK).  In addition, Dr. Bell treats and manages glaucoma (GLC), dry eye syndrome (DES), computer vision syndrome (CVS), as well as other posterior segment diseases such as diabetic retinopathy (DR) and macular degeneration (ARMD).   

Dr. Bell is a board-certified optometrist who has performed clinical rotations at The Eye Center in Memphis, Tennessee.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the West Florida Optometric Association (WFOA).  

In his free time, Dr. Bell enjoys playing golf, fishing, boating, relaxing on the beach and watching college football (Roll Tide!).
