Dr. Stacey McDonald was an associate optometrist with Dr. Terrezza in Pensacola and Milton from 2010 to 2018 and has rejoined the practice to care for patients in her hometown of Navarre. Dr. McDonald graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, in 1997. Dr. McDonald is a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the West Florida Optometric Association.
Dr. McDonald is an Air Force Brat whose family retired to Niceville in the late 1980s. After graduating from Optometry School, Dr. McDonald practiced in South Florida and the Tampa area. She has experience working in a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice and surgical center, has owned private practices in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton, and has worked with private group practices. Dr. McDonald enjoys treating entire families, from younger children to grandparents. She provides comprehensive eye care, including full-scope services such as comprehensive eye exams, treatment and management of ocular diseases, contact lens fittings, and emergency eye care. Dr. McDonald truly strives to provide each patient with their best vision and takes the time to discuss individual vision needs, providing her patients with appropriate eyewear and contact lens options.
Dr. McDonald has lived in Navarre since 2012 and enjoys volunteering at local schools and animal rescues. She has served on the School Advisory Committees at West Navarre Primary School, West Navarre Intermediate School, and Navarre High School, and volunteers for the Navarre High School Raiders Baseball Team. In her free time, Dr. McDonald can be found working in her yard and gardens, cooking, baking, fostering dogs and supporting her son in his baseball endeavors.
