John Imm is an ocularist with 12 years of experience. He provides his service throughout the Panhandle of Florida and parts of Alabama. Mr. Imm moved to Pensacola and established his office in 2002. Mr. Imm is originally from the St. Louis metro area. He trained to be an ocularist with Bruce Cook, a very accomplished ocularist in St. Louis. During the five years of training, John was fortunate enough to work weekly at the Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute of St. Louis University. There, he gained valuable training experience.
Mr. Imm's office is very service oriented. Him and his trained staff make every effort to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease about the entire process. His way of making his patients more comfortable about the loss of an eye is to create a prosthesis as undetectable by others as possible. John enjoys working with children whom he fits prosthetic eyes for reasons such as injury, birth defects, retinal blastoma, and disease.
Mr. Imm is married with three children. He is committed to the areas he serves.
